In about a month our children are going to have more candy than they can eat without getting a tummy ache. Why not make eating that candy a learning experience as well? It’s easy to make a graph on the computer or even draw one on paper and then the kids can graph their candy by color, size, or type.
The above graph is a Skittles graph that my son’s preschool teacher sent home with the kids to make practicing colors fun. It was a great activity for us to do while spending some time together and Jacob’s favorite part was that he got to eat a special treat at the end :)
