Red Gold {Giveaway}

I love good food but even more so than that I love good food that is easy to make. As a busy working mom I love to menu plan and most of the time use ingredients I have on hand. One food I use often is canned tomatoes. They are a staple here in our home and we add them to sauces, chili, salsa, stews, and about half of the meals we make every week. I just posted yesterday about the yummy Bolognese sauce we made for dinner with Red Gold canned tomatoes.

Red Gold has a variety of tomato products and is made close by me in Indiana. Since the Super Bowl will be in Indianapolis this year they are bringing seven bloggers out for a weekend with Red Gold, including an evening at The Taste of the NFL food and wine-tasting fundraiser. I am hoping to be one of the lucky bloggers chosen. It would be fun to find out more about Red Gold, celebrate football, meet celebrities, enjoy good food, get to know other bloggers, and attend an event that supports food banks across the nation.

  2. So many! A favorite is a Spicy Tomato-Veggie soup–it’s delicious and (accidentally) vegan

  3. January 2–I use canned tomatoes for spaghetti sauce, marcaroni casserole and I add it to stews. I think I will try to make chili using it.–el03ro

  4. I use canned tomatoes in my Tomato Meat Sauce and also I make a diced chicken, onions and tomato dish I serve with rice. I also use them when I make Tomato Beef which is a variation of the Chinese Broccoli Beef – I substitute tomatoes for broccoli since I hate broccoli and love tomatoes.

  5. I used canned tomatoes in a lot of my recipes, such as chili, spaghetti and mexican pizzas.
